Artefacts and Pitfalls in aEEG

This course is designed to help the clinician identify and eliminate artefacts in the aEEG trace during bedside brain monitoring and the importance of evaluation of the raw EEG tracing in identifying this situation.
The course will assist the clinician in identifying:

• Muscle Artefact
• Movement Artefact
• Respiratory artefact
• Ventilation artefact
• ECG artefactArtefacts produced in relation to electrode placement
• Artefacts due to physiological conditions
