Enhancing Family Experience during Phototherapy Treatment
Jaundice is a common condition in full term infants and is extremely common in the preterm population. Phototherapy is the proven treatment and is delivered either in the Well Baby Nursery, NICU or home environment.
This Education Seminar will focus on examining different methods of phototherapy delivery, and enhancing the experience of both the infant and the family during this essential treatment, ending with an open Q&A session between speakers and participants on the topic.

- Compare different methods of phototherapy delivery
- Examine incidence of readmissions to hospital for Jaundice Management
- Discuss benefits of adopting a family centred care approach to phototherapy delivery
- Discuss evidence related to fibre-optic (FO) blanket phototherapy
- Describe implementation of safe home phototherapy practices
JUDY MOORE is a dedicated and experienced Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner responsible for providing clinical education and product support for Natus Medical in her role as Director of Medical Education and Training.
Her work involves developing web-based education programmes for all aspects of newborn care, with courses covering subjects including aEEG application, hyperbilirubinemia and Family Centred Care.
She also delivers advanced clinical workshop seminars at Natus customer events and speaks at international conferences on neonatal issues.
Judy has a wealth of experience in teaching and supporting the application phototherapy treatment for jaundice management, and has provided many workshops internationally on the subject.
