This course is designed to help clinicians understand the technology behind the aEEG trace, in order to help them with interpreting the different patterns obtained during monitoring.
The course will assist the clinician in understanding:
- Technology utilised in aEEG
- Number of channels that can be acquired in limited channel monitoring
- Classification and interpretation of aEEG in Term and Preterm Infants
- The importance of impedance monitoring
- The usefulness of Grey scaling / CFM Sight in the aEEG trace
- The importance of the presence of cyclicity in the aEEG trace.
